There were some noise issues from a nearby pub, but overall, it didn't detract from the otherwise enjoyable experience.

The staff at the hostel were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Despite a couple of minor inconveniences, our overall stay was enjoyable. We were impressed by the spacious and well-equipped kitchen, as well as the convenient location near restaurants, shops, and attractions. The fact that there was no charge for linen rental was a pleasant surprise, and the laundry facilities were affordable. We were also grateful for the presence of a lift for our luggage.

This place is conveniently located near attractions such as the Botanist and Angel of the North, and is only a 5-minute walk from Newcastle train station. The availability of a kitchen was a great advantage. It is also just 2 km away from Seven Stories.

The location was super central, just a few minutes walk from the train station. Staff were really nice and printed off a map for me, which was really helpful.

Toilets and showers were located down one flight of stairs and then up another, which was a bit of a hassle. there were no lockers in the rooms, so I had to leave my stuff unsecured.

The only minor downside was that the heating radiator in the room had a tendency to cut out, causing the room to become cold again. However, this was easily resolved by adjusting the temperature or asking the staff for assistance.

After we checked out, we explored the location nearby and found some great local cafes and shops. the common area was spacious and comfortable, perfect for relaxing. the room featured an en suite bathroom that was clean and well-maintained. the staff offered a free breakfast every morning.

The Wi-Fi was weak and only worked in the communal area, making it difficult to access the internet from our room.

I have to say, the staff at this hotel are absolutely amazing. They were always smiling, friendly, and willing to go above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel welcome and remembered my name throughout my stay. It's rare to find such genuine and attentive service.

The complementary breakfast and hot cocoa were a nice surprise during my xmas stay. the hostel's location near all the shops and nightlife was perfect for exploring the city. Plus, the staff was accommodating and friendly when they could be bothered.

The rooms were freezing and the blankets provided barely helped. To top it off, the heater wasn't working and the staff never followed up on their promises to fix it.
